Description |
Rhizome creeping, much branched, with dense dark brown hairs to 0.3 mm long. Fronds spaced up to 35 mm apart, glabrous. Stipe 3–30 mm long, winged in upper part, glabrous except for very base. Lamina grey-green to dark green, narrowly lanceolate in outline, 6–16 x 2–3.5 cm, bipinnatifid, base gradually tapering; pinnae 6–13 on each side, lanceolate in outline, to 2.2 x 0.5 cm, decurrent on rhachis, ascending, divided in up to 7 segments; ultimate segments to 12 x 2 mm, obtuse to slightly emarginate. Rhachis broadly winged. Sori marginal, axillary or terminal, in mid- and upper part of lamina, always sunk into the lobe; indusium turbinate to campanulate, 1.5–2 mm long, to 0.8 mm in diameter, the mouth dilated and to 1.5 mm in diameter; receptacle exserted to 5 mm. |
